Book Review – Looking Into The Sun by Todd Tavolazzi

Looking into the Sun: A Novel of the Syrian ConflictLooking into the Sun: A Novel of the Syrian Conflict by Todd Tavolazzi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once I picked up LOOKING INTO THE SUN, I didn’t want to put it down. The story is both engaging and frightening, highlighting the atrocities of war in Syria, how it effects those living there, and those that report on it.

As a mom to young children, some parts were difficult to read, and others made me cry, but hard or not, they were essential to the story Todd Tavolazzi tells.

This is most definitely a book that will stick with you long after you’ve put it down. Well done, Todd Tavolazzi, on a truly amazing book!

I received an ARC from the publisher to give a review, but before I’d even finished reading it, I’d already pre-ordered my paperback copy. I’ll be proud to display this on my bookshelf!
